Well, not for the first week I would imagine. Definitely not the first few days after the surgery. You will not feel like doing much of anything the first two or three days, except laying around. Your throat will be incredibly raw and sore, so drinking will be about all the challenge you will want to deal with. Physically, of course, the surgery has no impact on your legs and you could run. You just won't feel up to it or want to. I imagine by the end of the first week though, you should be back on your feet and able to go back to your usual activities. You might be more easily tired out, since you won't be on full feed at that point, but you could still workout and exercise to the extent you felt like it.
