Can I somehow install a 250gb hard drive onto my xbox 360 arcade console in place...

...of the memory card? The memory card on my xbox 360 arcade isn't big enough to play on live, and i want to know if i can buy a hard drive and install it, or go spend $200 more on a brand new xbox. Thanks
 
Yes you can. There's a removable cover on the left side when the console is horizontal. Remove that and you'll see a spot for the hard drive to go. It just slips in and will show up as usable space under your memory section.
 
any xbox (except the new slim version) can have a hard drive installed. On the top of the xbox (if it's standing up) the surface of the top of the xbox should be filled with holes like a grid (and is grey) there should be a grey button that isnt filled with little holes, press that in and the top of the xbox comes off and that is where the hard drive is placed, i have an xbox arcade and i hav a 60GB hard drive on it
