Can I send my fiance in Navy boot camp a care package?

I've heard different stories about care packages. I heard that they can't get them at all. But then I heard that they can get them at the end of boot camp. He has 3 weeks left. I have a care package all packed up with cookies and such, but I don't know if I should send it? I wasn't going to send him one at all, but I just want to know if I should.

Thanks for the help.

No

He may have to eat the cookies all at once then he'll be tossing his cookies.

Wait till he is home on leave and bake some Fresh ones for him. Nothing better than warm Chocolate chip cookies.

You can send him cookies at his duty station , not in bootcamp

They used to give guys grief over this. Imagine the trash it generates and the mail handling issues as well as the cookies in the foot locker and all the rodents and insects it would attract into the living facility.
I imagine they still give guys and gals on all services grief over care packages though I have been out a few years and my info is dated I would advise you not to risk it in case they still come up with the same silly stunts to make you wish you did not get a package. I think by law they cannot interfere with mail so they have to give it to a trainee but they sure used to make you wish mom had listened and never sent it!

Don't, give it to him when you go to graduation. If you are not going then wait until he gets to A School to send him a package.
