I just got a new phone threw a new 2 year agreement. However there is nothing the matter with the old phone. Can I just keep using the old phone like normal and when the new phone comes put it on ebay?
 
Of course you can, it's your phone!!

Simply make sure the device is in the clear meaning it works great, doesn't need to be returned to Verizon Wireless, and your new phone is activated...then go ahead.

Also, check with your local Verizon Wireless store...some of them buy back phones.
 
I was told through verizon that I need to activate the new phone (acts as my signature for 2 year agreement) then I can deactivate it and can sell it, is this true?
 
If your old phone worked and you did not need a new phone, why did you sign a new contract? You could have stayed on month to month until you saw a phone you wanted. Now if your old phone fails, you will have to pay retail for it since you used your upgrade.
 
Ok I activated my new phone to renew contract. Now I want to sell it so what do I do next, do I deactivate my new phone or what, could you please list the steps?
 
Well, just call Verizon Wireless and have them remove your new phone from the account and reactivate the old one...

I'm not exactly sure what your intentions in this is...you're going to get the short end of the stick...:confused:
