Can i screw in a sub amp into metal in a jeep wrangler?

I thought i heard online that it might be bad to mount or drill your subwoofer amp into metal because it would be competing with the ground or something like that. Since my wrangler is pretty much entirely metal I would like to know if this is true and if so what can i doabout it? Thanks!

mounting your amp onto a metal surface would not do any harm. i too have a jeep and have mine mounted on the back of the back seat, you could try that.
