can I sawp SIM cards to another BB with no problems?

like the topic, can I simply pull my SIM card and pop it into another BB and carry on as if nothing never happened?

I ask because my 8100, is having some major issues. I have contacted TMO and the only way they will replace my BB is with another service contract, something I neither want to do or can afford at the moment.

So i am thinking of jumping on ebay and trying to get another BB cheap, and just swaping the sim cards, but I wanted to be sure I would retain my BB services before I took the plunge.

You can switch as long as the BB is unlocked or TMO branded. Also you will need to switch PIN and IMEI on your BIS account. Although it should detect that you have a different device, but it's better safe than sorry.
 
~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~ shouldn't be a problem, your contacts will go with you as well as any other info you saved on the SIM, but your PIN will be different...

Other then that you'll be set. It may or may not autp register that device but you can do it online much easier.(Just so yo de_activate the PIN/IMEI info from the past device to the new one). Its easy
 
Reddog pretty much said it. Just had to switch myself, and I completely agree: swith the PINs!!!.

You won't have any third party apps and such though.
