Can I save a game to my XBOX 360 hard drive and play it from a backup copy?

With the NXE, you can save games to your hard drive. What I want to know is if i can play a friend's game, save it to my 360's hard drive, and make a copy of the game on my computer with copy dvd, and play the game with the burned copy
