Can i run my car subwoofers on a switch?!?!?!?

i currently have a pretty good sound system for subs i have 2 12's is there anyway can i run a switch so if i dont want the subs on they dont have to be on??? because i have 5's and selenium horns and sometimes i dont want the subwoofers on... can i do this??? if so how????
 
yea i think you should make a power switch that will turn on & off the amp. just cut the power + (pos) plug conncet it to a switch and connect the rest of the wire on the other side of the switch. also cut off the battery before trying
