Can i run my 150000btu a/c unit on my camper at home?

If i have my travel trailer in my driveway at home, can i plug my power cord up to the house and run my 15000btu camper a/c unit without burning up thecord or wiring, I was told i could,but never had in the past.
sorry i meant 15000btu
