I had rear ended a car and police officer came to the sin and issued me a ticket "failure to avoid collision" $130 and 3 points. I have missed the court. Basically the car I was driving was not belonged to me and it did not have collision insurance so there was no inspection done by the insurance company to determine if the car has any mechanical issue so I have purchased the car from our relative repaird it and noticed the brake pedal is far away from gas pedal and that was the exact condition that I felt when I pushed the brake but my car did not stop immediately. At the time I had the accident I was so dizzy and could not explain that to the officer and figured that out after all, also the brake pedal gets up to the floor to stop the car. So this is my situation the court date was December 24th 2009 and I am in big trouble so what do you think?
can I request appeal for driving ticket if I missed the court?
