I recently bought a car. I have the title under my name and it is insured. Right now my car wont pass emissions. Will this stop me from being able to do registration? The previous owner left his plates on the car and the number is good til next year( I believe its the tag?) Can I still drive it with these plates til I get it registered? Are registration and tags separate? HELP!
