Can I recieve pictures in text messages on the Nextel Brute i686?

Can I recieve pictures in text messages on the Nextel Brute i686? I have recieved a few pictures through text but only a small box appear where the picture would be. Anyone know if these phones are capable of this? Probably should of asked the sales guy at Sprint when I got the phone...

Motorola specs for the phone says it does support multimedia messaging. I would make sure picture messaging is included in your plan
