can I receive a bond reduction for contempt of court because my bond is

crazy high at 25,00? I think I have a warrant for contempt for non support my bond is stated at 25,000 cash only its a class a misdemeanor if convicted my ? is cand i get my bond reduced and also how much jail time am I looking at .thanks
i have 1 assault charge a couple of traffic tickets and a dui all have been at least 7-8 years prior I did have a failure to appear but was able to bond out for 10 percent of 15,000
I do understand that this is a scumbag thing to do i hit hard times i am a single father myself who is supposed to recieve child support i would however like to pay the price for my actions and move on I am just wondering what I am up against
 
Please provide your complete criminal history and a narrative of the case... that is what the judge will consider. Generally a high bond is due to a problems, for instance failures to appear or avoiding service.
 
Bail is set at whatever amount the judge thinks will be sufficient to ensure that the defendant appears for trial.
As you seem more concerned with bail than anything else, I suspect the bail ought to be higher.
