can i re-register flash player?

Daughter ran registry cleaner and somehow removed the availability to use f p..tried all help suggestions in Adobe,was finally told was probably a registry issue.downloaded fp10 and it shows in add/remove but no mb size on right like other installations. WinXP with IE8..Will try any suggestions given that I haven't already tried.Probably not enough info so ask if you need more...thanks for your help
