can i put spray paint on my skateboard?

nah it dont do a thing exccept make it look sick if u do it right. boards gri tape is rough and bumpy. thin paint like spray paint seeps below the bumps then dryes. besides pro teams paint on the tape of the board and it looks fine. if ur really scared itll mess up ur board test it on rough sandpaper or buy some gri tape and try it on that.
 
I'm guessing it would be fine because my friend has done that and it seems to work okay.
