can i stuff in it the pipe , panty hose on the outside will look wierd
 
Put panty hose over the filter's openings, it will save the fry from suck-age.

Just until the fry are big enough I would leave it on the outside. Stuffing the filter might pollute your water, and as fry are quite sensitive to water quality this might not be too good.
