Can I put Sims 3 on a flash drive?

I don't want my computer to lag so i was thinking about storing Sims 3 on a flash drive, is there any way i can play is straight off the flash drive?
If so how would i go about doing this?
 
the game is about 6gb so get a flash drive thats more or the same as 6gb!!!!!!!! and then just drag the sims 3 folder to the flash drive icon on ur desktop
