I have a 1982 Yamaha Vision and decided to do a DIY rattle can paint job. I need to know if i can put a filler primer over the lacquer primer. Ive been wetsanding my butt off and just want to know if this will ruin the prime coat ive already done.
I didnt know what primer to use first but i do have a nice deep scratch at the top of the tank. I ran out of the lacquer and filler primer sounds like it would "fill" that scratch a little better than the lacquer has.
