Can I put angel fish and plecos together?

Um.. I have an angel fish, it's pretty big, but it's old and really lazy. Doesn't move much. I wanna get a pleco, but would the pleco eat the angel or harm it in any way?

Btw; I also have a skirt tetra.
25 gallons.

under no circumstance will the pleco harm your angel fish, and u can keep a pleco in your 25 gallon tank just a small one, yes most types grow large but u can either get a smaller breed or a juvenile and when he gets larger, get a larger tank, or get rid of him for another juvenile, many fish shops will accept trades assuming the fish is healthy, or will give you store credit. the pleco will no harm your tetra either.

What size is your tank?

Common plecos needs at least 75 gallons because they get 18 inches long or more, some others like the Clown plec or some Bristle nosed plecos will get anything under 6 inches.

Also, if you mean a Black skirt tetra, they really need to be in schools of at least 5.

EDIT: Yep, you can get a pleco, but make sure you know what species you are getting. :-)

I have common and spotted plecos and they have never bothered any other fish .Some of my plecos are a foot long and in a tank of new angelfish that are only dime size and they are getting along just fine.
