i am gettin a fish tank that is 19cm wide and a foot high and a foot long. I was wondering if i could fit a koi about 5 inches long in this tank

um no im a vet and these fish are so sensitive to there home they have to be kept in a pond. they will die if t will be kept in a fish tank they have certain needs and you don't want to kill it...... so no.

No, i tried this before, it stays small for about a week but then grows very quickly and will die. Koi need to be in a pond at lease 3ft deep.

Depends on how long you want to keep in in there! If its perinent then NO! they can get huge! and very quickly! but if only for a month or two then yes as long as you have proper filtration.
