Can I put a GRLMOBILE or Crazy Johns sim in a Vodafone locked phone?

A few years ago I put a Crazy Johns sim card in a Vodafone locked mobile, and it worked freely.


I know both GRLMobile and Crazy Johns are owned by Vodafone, and run off Vodafone's network, so would it work?
