I need a new battery pack in a 2001 Prius with 135,000 miles, mostly due to lots of time sitting unused. I did a search and found somewhere that suggested installing a later Gen 2 battery pack. Is this possible without too much modification? They are a lot easier to find and have much less use on them.
Can I put a Gen 2 battery on a Gen 1 Toyota Prius?
