can i put a bed from a 1985 toyota on my 1987 toyota?

I am putting a newer bed on my truck because my old one is really rusty. I have found a new bed that is from a 1985 toyota. Both trucks are short beds, I just want to know if the bolt patterns are the same

Yes, they are the same, an if not you can weld the supports according to the new bed.
