I already have a japanese fighting fish now. (i only have one), I want to get 10 baby gold fish since its so cheap. Can i out them in the same tank with the japanese fighting fish? Please help

It is Siamese fighting fish, not Japanese. These fish are tropical fish while the goldfish are coldwater fish. They are not compatible.

While the common/comet goldfish may come cheap, the habitat they require to thrive is most certainly not. The usual recommendation is 55 gallons for a single common goldfish and 20 gallons more for each additional. So that's over 200 gallons for ten.

bettas are only really only aggressive towards each other not other fish.....i've been keep bettas in community tanks for years...as do most experienced fish keepers....so the betta is not the problem

the answer to you question is NO...for several reasons

1) bettas are topical needing temps over 75...and gold fish are cold water fish needing under 70 degrees...

2) common gold fish get very big...most get well over 12in to 14in each...and need 55 gallon just for one and 20+ for each one after that....you need a much bigger tank

3) the gold fish put out a lot of waste..so much so that 10 in that size tank will kill every thing including themselves from the ammonia

so if you want to add another fish with the betta look into getting some small tetras or even a platy

I wouldn't recommend it. Fighting fish are VERY territorial, and you would only be able to keep the goldfish in a tank over 100 gallons. Besides, goldfish are coldwater. And fighting fish are tropical. Either way, fish are going to die.
