...an 18 y.o. female (w/o sex)? How can I prove that it is legal for a 16 year old male (with parental consent) to date an 18 year old female without sex *IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA*?
I am a 16 year old male who is interested in dating an 18 year old female (without sexual relations occurring.) The girl's parents do not approve of us dating on the grounds that it is illegal. Can anyone provide a *citation from California law* that would prove the legality of us dating (assuming we are not having sex - which we are not)? Thank you.
The age of consent in California is 18, however this only applies to sexual relations. I'm not asking about sex, only a relationship without one.
