Can I preview my photos on my PC without downloading them?

Is there any possible way I can preview my pictures on my computer monitor without downloading them to the hard drive? I would use the video cord that attaches to my TV, but the pictures look pretty terrible in standard definition compared to a high-res monitor. Plus, I'm running low on disc space. So any ideas or suggestions on how to do this would be great.
It's a rebel XTi. If I plug it in, and delete the photos in the browser, will it apply to the pictures in the card, or do I have to delete those after I preview them?

As Fishmeister said on the viewing question. What concerns me is you saying you are running low on disc space. You either have a VERY old computer with a TINY hard drive or you have tons of photos on your computer. In either case, you are just BEGGING for a computer crash to happen and LOSE ALL YOUR PHOTOS. Why anyone stores thousands of photos on their computer is beyond me, but if you are, please get them on either an external hard drive with RAID back up capability and / or burn them to CD and make a list as to what is on the discs or print off contact sheets through Photoshop.

Just trying to save you some heartache.

(it would help if you said what camera you have!)

Of course you can preview them first, when you plug the camera in you will get a preview of all the images on the camera/memory card. This is with whatever software you happen to be using (Lightroom, Photoshop, even Windows built in software). You then have the option of uploading them all or individually selecting the ones you want to upload.

This is standard for every camera (that I know of anyway).
