There are several martial arts that I want to study in my lifetime, these are muay thai, karate, jujitsu and wingchun or Nintaijutsu. But I am a bit stuck. Right now I am 16 nearly 17 years old and have done only a year in muay thai. How long should I spend in each art and how do I go about it? I am aware because I want to study several martial arts I will never be profficent in either one.
Should I study one and use it as a 'base'? for example Bruce Lee made Jeet Kune Do but his 'base' was Wing Chun (Dont want to imply I intend on making my own martial art, just learning as much as I can in different areas). In which case should I carry on with muay thai? or give up muay thai for karate and then come back to muay thai in the future? I think the problem is that muay thai is more of a combat sport so I may benefit more from starting with a traditional martial art?
Do you think I should do it one by one? such as muay thai, then karate, then jujitsu etc. or should I do it simultaenously at the same time?
Help please =)
Thanks
