When I was a freshman I played football. When I became a sophmore I tore cartilage in my knee and couldn't play. This injury has made me sit out my whole sophmore, junior, and senior season. I'm nearing the end of senior year and I'm not doing to well. I'm wondering if I fail this year, get surgery during the summer and go back to school the following year can I play sports at all? Ill be 18 turning 19 in january

Depends on your state. I think in Oklahoma you can play 6 years of high school sports, as long as you are under the age of 21. But it just depends on where you live, chances are, there will not be any problems.

Sports isn't everything. It's a short period of your life, mostly. 5% of Americans go into pro sports, and your surgery could possibly fail.
