My motorbike was run into last year causing minor damage but the claim has still not been settled,
I would like to part ex the bike at a dealership but do not think i will be able to, If they run an h.p.i check will the accident (just a dented exhaust) show up? my insurance company just say it would be difficult and they would rather wait till the claim is sorted but this will mean me m.o.ting the bike again an buying new tyres etc.
The insurance is taking so long because the other car owner is denying they know the driver even though she is on the policy, i could fix it myself but will a h.p.i check show the bike as involved in an ongoing claim and prevent me from part exchanging it?
