can I paint over gloss paint?

Hi, i just recently painted part of my car interior black and it had a glossy finish. now i'm kind of doubting the look of being glossy. anyone have an idea on how to paint over it? i was thinking of using satin vinyl paint to paint over it. will that work or do i need to sand it down. if i do, what kind of sand paper do i need. i don't want to leave scratch marks on the dash etc.. thanks
 
If you have painted the interior of your car with gloss paint , why worry about what is looks like ?
You will have a car that looks awful so live with it and save your money and time.
You can sand down gloss and repaint over it but your car will always look rough.
