I want to use the fry to feed my other fishes, my main concern is that the cory cats don't get killed. I'd like to mate them just to try and I think it would be a fun project. My male is still pretty small, and my female is full grown, so, I think now is a good time so the male isn't so large that he can hurt her very badly during mating. I may like to keep one of the fry as a pet by culling the bad ones first and then picking a good one once they grow a bit.
Can I mate my bettas in a tank that has cory cats in it?
