can i make sprint to metro pcs?

Well i found a sprint samsung and i haven't turned it onn yet becus im afraid people might call and i dont want to give them the phone back...

i want to know how much will it cost to switch it to metro pcs? and if it is reported stolen will metro pcs give it to the owner?

by personal experience it would cost more then need be to try and unlock the phone for metropcs, metropcs wont do it for you so you would have to try and find someone to do it for you, if you do decide to stay with the phone you can always use it with a boostmobile plan. may be a little bit more money but is worth it depending on your area of service between metropcs and boost

to activate it at metro pcs they will have to turn on the phone and they will have to see if they can unlock it. If they can unlock it than you can get service with it at Metro PCS but if they cant unlock it than you might as well give it back or do it anyways cause you would want something returned if you lost an item so why not give it back.
