I'm trying to make gifs in Photoshop CS5, and only .mp4 videos seem to work when I open them. When I open .avis, all I see is a white block in the size that the video would be. Do I have to convert my .avis to .mp4s in order to make gifs? If so, how do I do that?
I didn't think this would be confusing, but to clarify, I'm trying to create an animated gif, not a screencap image.
