Can I lose weight by just riding my bike everyday for an hour or two?

I weigh 170 pound and I'm 13 almost 14 in a month. I know I'm overweight so I'm making it my goal to lose at least 15-30 pounds by my birthday. Please help me and tell me how many pound I can lose by riding my bike for an hour or two?
 
When you say "an hour or two" that tells me you aren't planning on doing anything legit, just sitting on a stationary bike, barely pedaling, and reading a magazine or watching TV.

In this case, no. No you won't. If you want to lose weight, you have to put forth an actual effort. No effort = no weight loss. Simple as that.
 
yes that would of course help you lose weight. but if you go back indoors after and tuck into a hamburger and chips then there isnt much point. diet is just as important when exercising, its the combination of the two that you need to have, one doesnt work without the other.
