Can i leave to college at 17?

I am ging to turn 17 in january and i am going to graduate at 17. The problem is that my parents dont want me going too far from home to go to college...Am i allowed by law to go live at the school dorm against my parents will..Money is not the issue.
 
that is not a logical statement. i was 17 for the 1st week of college. im sure you can go, with good incentive.
 
Well thats a tough question.. I am not a lawyer.. But here are some questions I have.. How is money not an issue?? Do you have money saved up to attend college?? If so, by law you can emancipate yourself and become independent.. I DO NOT recommend this.. But it is possible
