I'm not sure how mono is treated, but there are many states that allow you to sue someone if they gave you a sexually transmitted disease. Usually, the victim has to prove their partner KNEW they had the disease, but failed to inform them before sexual contact.
Again I'm not sure how mono is treated in this respect, but I'd say you have a case against this harlet for battery.
