Can I kill book mold by baking the book?

I have a factory service manual that has gotten damp and a little moldy. It has been sitting in the car for 12 years in a garage.
I don't want to spread a bunch of live spores around and was thinking if I baked the book at 190 it might kill the mold spores.

Will this work?
