We got a car on hp from welcome finance, we kept up the original payment until my partner was made redundant, we then made a arrangement with welcome to pay half the monthly payment until my partner got back to work, this was fine for a while then a particular person at the welcome office where we paid started getting funny about the payments.......We have recently passed our case onto citizens advice after other troubles with the company.
Now today we have received a letter from a debt company asking us for the money so does this mean now that its no longer under welcome and we get to keep the car, i have phoned citizens advice to let them know about the letter but our case worker is on maternity leave so we have someone else who isnt fully noted of our case?
