Can I keep a shetland pony in my back garden?

As long as your garden is a decent size, has appropriate grass and lack of poisonous plants, and is safely fenced with no debris in the lot I see nothing wrong with it.

However, the most important thing is that you need to check with your local zoning laws and rules.

I haven't got a pony yet but was just wondering if this would be ok? or allowed? and not seen as cruel. My garden is a decent size and I would buy a decent outside stable for it. What do you think?
Obviously I would put fences up to secure the Pony.

I don't think so really. because they need a fence and if you have a land lord check first. I hope that helps
