i don't want to go through the hassle of drilling through the firewall, i noticed whilst installing the head unit the power supply wires, is it ok if i run the amplifiers power Parallel from these wires to save the hassle of drilling to the battery? or is there any other way i could do it?

All the other answers are really good answers but I've installed a few amps in my day and I've found that you can also run your power wire from under the hood, through the fender then through the door jam. It's not the safest method in the world, just take your time watch out for pinch areas and it can save you some work and time.

for power amps you need large, thick power cables...you cant really use the head unit wires....when you drill through the bulk head just make sure you use a rubber grommet in the hole to protect the wires....

Typically there are punch-outs in the firewalls. Just find one, knock it out and run the wires. Just make sure you use a rubber grommet to protect the wires from shorting to the frame. Amps need a lot more amperage than just the head unit, so your best bet is always run it to the battery. If you tried running it from say the fuse box, you could overload the circuit or cause tons of heat buildup resulting in a fire.

in most cases you don't have to drill....as mentioned above you can route the wire through an existing grommet
