My grandmother bought a new phone and it came with a bluetooth headset(note its been about a year and a half now) and she is giving it to me because she never used it and don't know how to work it,now even though the headset is kinda old, will it still be compatible with my PS3 and I also need the steps to hook it up.

First, you have to put the headset into "Pairing Mode." If you don't know how to do this, refer to the headset's instruction manual. If you can't find your's, chances are, the manufacture's website has the manual in PDF format so you can view it. Then go to Settings, Accessory Settings, Manage Bluetooth Devices, and it will scan the environment for any bluetooth devices. If your headset is in Paring Mode, it should see your's within a few seconds.

go to accesoires>mange bluetooth>turn your bluetooth on> it show read it and put in the code its usally 0000 ( 4 zeros but it cud b different and ba boom der u go )

yes you can the only benefit of the crappy ps3 head set is it syncs with the system to show battery life and volume level
