I have a regular flat panel PC monitor with ONLY a D-sub connection on back. I'm trying to hook my cable box up to this monitor but it's not working. I purchased several semi-rare connector things off of ebay which convert different types of cables into D-sub but my monitor still says 'NO SIGNAL' no matter what type cable I run out of cable box into D-sub connector.
So my question is this....how do I hook up a regular monitor with a D-sub connection in rear to my Time Warner cable box so that whatever is playing out the cable box can be viewed on my monitor?
Is there a special connector? Converter box thingy? HELP!!
