I have a Toyota Camry 1999. I have the CD/Radio/Cassette system all attached together (it was made this way when we bought it, so it is still the original player). However, only the CD and radio is working, the cassette is not working anymore. I don't want to change the whole system, I just want to fix my cassette player. Is that possible, and is it expensive?

Possible yes and expensibe proably not more than 200 depending on what is wrong and how much (if any) of the dash has to come apart, the best place to take it would be a dealer or a audio shop that does audio and electronics.

Seriously, it would probably cost more to fix it than it would to buy a new unit.

It's possible that a rubber drive belt is bad, but you'd still be looking at $50 minimum. This is just a guess.

Would be way more expensive to try to fix it then to find a new head unit on ebay and replace it. These things are pretty easy they just slide in and out.
