I am currently a 15$ add a line on my family's cell phone plane through Verizon. Since I am now out of college I am looking to get my own cell phone plan and would really like to upgrade to the iPhone. Only problem is 3 months ago my phone broke, so I went in and got a new one with out realizing I re-upped for 2 more years on my parents' plan. Here's my thinking though: The fee to get out of my plan early is 150$. Not a massive amount, but annoying just the same. I am currently a 15$ add a line so yes they would lose that 15$ a month, but in exchange would be getting a 75$ a month iPhone plan plus the sale of the iPhone. Do you think they would follow this same line of thinking and wave the 150$ termination fee? They would easily make up that 150$ in the first 3 months of my iPhone data and texting plans, after all
I would like to stay with Verizon and get my iphone through them, because they have great coverage in my area.
