I want to get the Samsung Reality from Verizon but not with an extra $9.99 a month for a data plan. If I bought the phone from a private party or even off of ebay, would I be able to just simply activate that phone without signing up for the data plan? Basically, are there any tricks around it? I already have data completely blocked from my account because I was getting (and still occasionally do even with it blocked) bogus data charges.
Can I get one of the new Verizon phones without a data plan?
