Can I get on trouble if I refuse going to Army BCT?

Im a permanent resident waiting to ship out to Army Basic Training and I wonder what could happen if I refuse to go to the army.Does that affect my rights to be a citizen after refusing to go? I'd really like to know please. I'm a cuban permanent resident and I just need 5 month to be elegible for citizenship
