can i get my IM history from my yahoo mail chat?

I am trying to get the IM history from my yahoo mail chat, since there is not a "messaging archive" in my contacts area. I am really needed to do this because my sons father is over seas in the Army and that is how we keep in contact, and i would really like to print them out for a journal that i am making. If someone could please help me figure this out i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
 
Sorry but there is no way of getting them back. However for Future Reference do the following

1. do not clear out the chat window text ever
2. before existing chat window save chat

How to save chat:

1. go to file button
2. go to save
3. save
