I need some minor body work and transmission work (not sure how bad the tranny is). I was thinking I might get it fixed at a local vocational school but I'm not sure how to go about this. Union County Vocational School is close to my house, but I'm not sure if they do this kind of work. Can someone help me find out if I can get my car fixed cheap at a vocational school in NJ???? 10 pts to the person who is the most helpful!

And don't tell me that it's not a good idea to have students work on my car...the car is a POS and I'm strapped for cash. It seems to be my only option... THANKS!!!

with insurance and liability laws, I doubt you can have it done.
if something happend to your vehicle, the school could get into a messy law suit.
But, I would contact the county board of education and see if possible, I can be wrong. But, still think they will not do it.
Good luck.

well many do take their cars there for repairs but thing is it might take a whole year or longer to get it done since if they not working on that part at time they in school possible to get it done sure smart no so much think about it they know as much as you do... they learning you could type into search box

how to do body work

and do same thing learn how to make your on repairs might be cheaper but might not get it done anytime soon say school as done with their body work class and now on painting your car waits and auto body and auto repair different classes just not wise but if you dont need car this year and dont mine the wait and dont mine having someone who doesnt know how to repair it work on it
