can i get more fish for my fish tank?

I have a 20 gallon fish tank, I have two freshwater pufferfish and three tetras. Would the tank be too crowded if I got another school of three tetras.

the rule is about 1 gallon per 1 inch of fish. depending on how big your pufferfish are you can get a lot more.

Most of the freshwater puffers need to be kept alone or with other puffers of the same species. There may be exceptions to this rule, but in general the tank mates may become an expensive lunch for the puffer

yeah you could get more than 3 if you wanted. once you get them though they will probably join the others to make a big group. you could add an asortment of small fish amounting to 10 in all. maybe get 5 more tetras, 3 swords, and 2 platys. that would be a real nice setup. unless you like your tanks a little bare, or more planted and decorated than filled with fish.
