...long and short excursions? I'm planning on doing some trekking in the middle east this summer. I just purchased some low cut hiking boots, because I thought they'd be more suitable for hot weather (plus they are more stylish) but I'm second guessing my purchase because I may want to go on hiking trips in the winter time or on long trips where I'll be backpacking. My question is, would it be worth it to have a low cut summer pair and a high top winter pair? Or could I get by with just the high tops year round?
